Pittsburgh knows deficits. In the end, you can’t spend yourself to riches or indebt yourself to wealth. Neither the Republicans or Democrats seem to be capable of real change.
But it can change with Libertarian candidates, and it all starts locally. Vote Pittsburgh Libertarians!

Libertarians are about freedom and liberty… We’re for you’re right to say “no thanks” to bureaucrats and meddlers (and worse) who like to round up voters so they can hijack democracy and rife into to your wallet and rights. To libertarians, the government has one job: to protect your right as an individual to say “no thanks!” That means protecting your life, property, and rights of freedom and liberty — something it hardly does in its current form.

Libertarians being a party of such principles can’t help but be pleased to see Ron Paul, a Republican, doing well on a platform we support. It is a platform so rare today among Republicans and Democrats — and rarer than it was in the early 1970s when we were formed. But do we can that Ron Paul is an R? Nope. He’s an L at heart and in action, and for most of us, that’s what counts. Go message of freedom and liberty! Go Ron Paul!

Why would a Libertarian Party website post a video of a Republican presidential candidate? He may be a Republican by Party, but he’s Libertarian by action.

Libertarians believe the job of government is exclusively to protect the freedom, liberty, and property of the individual. It believes the right of individual consent is far higher than the whims of voters and politicians. In other words, you should have the right to say “no thanks” to other who want to confiscate what rightfully belongs to you.

That doesn’t mean we stand for your right to do whatever you want. You must have the consent of others, and they must be of sound mind and body and not under threat of jail or physical violence.

Many Americans like the idea of this sort of freedom. Freedom with a government that protects your rights, but otherwise leaves you alone when you are respecting the right to consent of others. That is the Libertarian Philosophy of Freedom, and we hold it higher than any party affiliation. We are always true to it. That is why we can’t help but post a video of a fellow friend of liberty seeking to get our message out through the Republican party. Other republicans may not care about it, but ALL libertarians do!

Why not help us get our message out to others?

Did you Feel Politically Homeless in the Past Election? Have you had it with your vote being betrayed, or being forced with a lousy choice between the lesser of two evils?

Did you hate of being stuck with….

A Choice between the Bush War and mealy mouthed Democrat opposition?

A Choice Between a government that grows really, really fast vs. one that grows really, really, really fast??

A choice where both candidates fight over who can dream up the bigger government benefits and goodies — paid for with YOUR tax dollars – in order to win elections?

Each election being turned into an advance-auction of confiscated personal property and rights, confiscated via taxes and excessive regulations?

Republicans that promise fiscal responsibility, but when they get both houses of Congress AND the Presidency, they grow ALL spending faster than the Democrats ever would have dared??

Democrats who now want to raise taxes, further hamstring the free market, increase taxes on your energy bill, among a zillion other socialist, freedom killing ideas.

“Spending cuts” that are nothing but inconsequential reductions in the rapid rate of government growth?

Flips and flops, and back-flips and more flops, lies and half truth’s??

It is said, Garbage in = garbage out. Things won’t change if you keep rewarding the two big parties for their bad behavior.

If you have had it with the same old garbage, maybe it’s time to learn more about the Libertarian Party. We believe that governments should rule with the consent of the individual, not the other way around. Yet today it has become popular for all politicians to tout the benefits of populist democracy, without bothering to acknowledge that in a democracy the majority can vote for laws and regulations that violate freedom and liberty to ‘nth degree.
